How to Use Facebook for Business?

Facebook offers a lot of features to its users such as notes, chat, gifts, marketplace, messaging, groups, voice calls, video calling, video viewing, for hidden service, news feed, user profile/ personal timeline, like button, following and so on.

Facebook can be used as a personal blog, a chat, a community website, a news feed and so on. However, more than 2 million people use Facebook as advertisement management system.

In the following I will present you four methods you can use to boost your website traffic, get more clients, generate more video views, get more popular.

1. Facebook Business

The most known method is represented by Facebook Ads Manager/ Facebook for Business. Here you can create an advert. If you want to use it properly, you need to disable any ads blocking tool, extension or add-on.

To set an ad campaign you need to choose the objective for your campaign. At every step, you can get help if you need. So you can choose to boost your posts, to promote your page, to send people to your website and to increase conversions on your website. You can also choose to get installs of your app, to increase engagement in your app, to reach people near your business, to raise attendance at your event, to get people to claim your offer, to get video views or to collect leads for your business.

Each objective has a different type of ad and once selected you will go further more to the next step. If you choose to boost your posts you can select a business page together with a post and a name for your campaign. In the case of promoting your page objective, you can select the page and the campaign name. To send people to your website you can enter URL to promote. To increase conversions on your website you need to create a Facebook Pixel to create your conversions.

To get installs on your app objective and to increase engagement in your app you need to select an app you created in Facebook Developer and the campaign name.  To reach people near your business you need to select a business page and to write the campaign name. To raise attendance at your event choose an event or enter its URL. To get people to claim your offer you need to find an eligible post from your business page. To create video views and to collect leads to your business you need to select the proper business page and the campaign name.

As I already mention, each objective has its own type of ads so I will only write about how to boost your post because it is the most popular objective. Once you selected the business page, the post and the campaign name you need to press the blue button: Create Ad account. Here you can set the account country, currency, time zone and some advanced options such as ad account name. Then you press the set audience and budget button. Here you filter your audience after locations: country, county, city, area; after age, after gender, after languages, after demographics, after interests. Also, you can exclude people, add a connection type and you can see details and an estimation of potential reach.

Next step is the budget. Where you can set it daily or a lifetime. You can even schedule, add an ad set name and further optimize with advanced options such as delivery type, ad scheduling when you get charged and optimization for ad delivery together with bid amount.

The last step is to choose advert. So press the blue button. Here you can see a preview and you can also add URL tags or select an existing page post. If you are satisfied you can place an order or you can just review order. This method is the most efficient one because you can filter audience after gender, age, geolocation and many other things.

2. AddMeFast

The second option is to create an account at Addmefast where in exchange for points you can get likes and shared on Facebook. To make points you need either to refer people, to check the daily bonus or to give others Facebook likes, shares, and followers and so on.

After you successfully reached a high number of points, you just need to add your page. Here you can select the type of page usually, Facebook likes, countries, title, page URL, total clicks, Daily clicks and the value in points of each like people give you. However, this method is the most inefficient because you need to lose a lot of time to make the points and you need to put the value of a like 10 points or else people won’t like your Facebook. Also, even if it is free you can pay for points, but it is not worth it.

Another negative aspect is that usually people like your page, they receive the 10 points, but then they unlike your page so you lose the like you have spent time to make points for. I already experimented this problem so in a week I made more than 500 likes but in the same time I lost 300.

3. phpSFP

The third method is available with the help of phpSFP (PHP Schedule Facebook Posts) script available for $13 (buy it from CodeCanyon). This script is created by Litetech. It has more than 2000 sales and 3500 comments. It also has a 4.79 average buyer rating based on 264 ratings. It was released on 16 July 2013 and its last update was release on 18 January 2016.

The script is compatible with IE8+, Opera, Safari, Firefox and Chrome. It was built with CodeIgniter framework, Javascript, JSON, HTML, CSS, PHP, and SQL. phpSFP has useful features such as easy to install and manage, multiple users with level access, time zone, Facebook profile picture, modal system, tooltip information, passwords encrypted with SHA1, cron system, redirect protection, keep me logged in option, confirm the delete, date picker, MVC software architecture and more.

To boost your website popularity with Facebook, you need to install this script on a web host together with a database and use it to schedule post in groups and business pages for free.

4. Sharer

The last and the most interesting method is Facebook Sharer PRO ( You can buy the script for $49. Also, you need to install it together with a database and to create an app on your Facebook Developer account.

Facebook Sharer Pro is an advanced script for sharing content on Facebook groups. The script works with Facebook Graph. You can even share content to fan pages and on your profile wall. You can use unlimited Facebook accounts, message lists, resources and schedule campaigns. It lets you post animated gifs, real size images, extern links with full preview, videos, and text. Facebook Sharer Pro is so advanced that uses complex algorithms in order to escape Facebook Spam checker.

So, if you want to use Facebook in order to boost your website’s popularity  and drive more traffic you should try all four methods and select the ones that are most suitable for you. A good idea is also to use them simultaneously but keep in mind that it will require a higher initial investment and also more time.
