How to Use Facebook to Drive More Traffic to Your Website?

The most known method is represented by Facebook Ads Manager/ Facebook for Business. Here you can create an advert. If you want to use it properly, you need to disable any ads blocking tool, extension or add-on.
To set an ad campaign you need to choose the objective for your campaign. At every step, you can get help if you need. So you can choose to boost your posts, to promote your page, to send people to your website and to increase conversions on your website. Each objective has a different type of ad and once selected you will go further more to the next step. If you choose to boost your posts you can select a business page together with a post and a name for your campaign. In the case of promoting your page objective, you can select the page and the campaign name. To send people to your website you can enter URL to promote. To increase conversions on your website you need to create a Facebook Pixel to create your conversions.
To get installs on your app objective and to increase engagement in your app you need to select an app you created in Facebook Developer and the campaign name. To reach people near your business you need to select a business page and to write the campaign name. To raise attendance at your event choose an event or enter its URL. To get people to claim your offer you need to find an eligible post from your business page. To create video views and to collect leads to your business you need to select the proper business page and the campaign name.
As I already mention, each objective has its own type of ads so I will only write about how to boost your post because it is the most popular objective. Once you selected the business page, the post and the campaign name you need to press the blue button: Create Ad account. Here you can set the account country, currency, time zone and some advanced options such as ad account name. Then you press the set audience and budget button. Here you filter your audience after locations: country, county, city, area; after age, after gender, after languages, after demographics, after interests. Also, you can exclude people, add a connection type and you can see details and an estimation of potential reach.
Next step is the budget. Where you can set it daily or a lifetime. You can even schedule, add an ad set name and further optimize with advanced options such as delivery type, ad scheduling when you get charged and optimization for ad delivery together with bid amount.
The last step is to choose advert. So press the blue button. Here you can see a preview and you can also add URL tags or select an existing page post. If you are satisfied you can place an order or you can just review order. This method is the most efficient one because you can filter audience after gender, age, geolocation and many other things.
